Joie de Vivre is a collection inspired by the joy of living.
Joie de Vivre joins two of my favorite things together, art and food. This collection was carefully created to host the perfect dinner party. I wanted this project to be less formal and static. As I made the pieces, they always had a specific intention of human interaction. The product shoot is entirely different from my other work. It was specifically done to show the products in use and the beauty of life, including the messiness of it too. This collection includes a burrata plate, a dip/serving platter, a cheese board, an olive and olive-pitt set, a baguette holder, two breadstick holders, and four bowls, with one used as a butter candle. Through this project, I discovered how much I like working with clay and the infinite creative possibilities it allows you.
